When I bought my first android phone I downloaded many app, and this app Quran Android.
Quran Android is best quran app for smart phone user, it has many features like translation, tafseer and also recitation per verse.
but if you want to listen to recitation you must have internet connection so you can download offline audio data for recitation, but also the audio files size is big approx 300-500mb for 30 juz depend on reciter and quality.
so today i wanna to teach how to download recitation files manually for offline usage so you can sell it give it to others.
I will show how to do step by step:
1. first download Quran android to your mobile/tablet and update it.
2. by using computer connected to internet go to this website Sourceforge

3. Then download your favourite reciter, for me I download shuraim-64kbps
4. For Linux-sabily you already have the files in your computer just copy it.
5. After you finish the download extract it
6.rename the folder and files, to make work less hassle use Bulk rename utility
because quran android use different formatting for files name so you must rename the folder and files by removing "00" from it for example "001" change to "1" , "099">"99".
7. After that copy all files to your sd card. Put your files in /sdcard/android/data/com.quran.labs.androidquran/files/audio/
8. For Reciters Quran Android formatting by number, rename your folder according to this list

2= abdullah basfar
3= Abdurrahman As Sudais
4= abu bakr as shaatree
5= misyari rasyid alafasy
6= Hani Rifai
8= Husary mujawwad

14= Mohammad al tablaway
15= mohammad ayyoub

*for husary and minshawi dont use numbering because it doesnt have verse by verse but gapless by surah
9. Run your Quran Android and listen to recitation

i followed steps for Abdullah Basfar, and it is still downloading recitation. If I don't have internet connection, I won't recite.

any body want audio data in the voice of 7 difrent qari, i mange 1 quran set and arange by hizb 1 sipara in 8 equal parts each part recite by 1 qari total 7 qari recite 8 parts, also manage rukoo by rukoo, this data for android quran, eislam explorer, equran explorer and for many other quran application you can download from

Just want to highlight that you can also download same files from your application as follows :
1- Uncheck the option : Streaming in Settings
2- Go to the main Page, and select JUZ'
3- Select the JUZ you want to download
4- Select the Reciter from the bottom of the page
5- Download will be started automatically.

I was struggling with this. Especially the renaming part.
But i noticed a much less stressful way of downloading all the reciters....
- on the sura page, in the upper right corner, click the book, which gives you a view of the quran itself
- tap the screen to show the upper and lower bar. Make sure the correct reciter is in the lower bar
- tap the screen again to hide the bars again
- tap and hold the first sura. This reveals a greenish menu. Focus on the right-pointing play icon on the right side. Tap it. It opens a large bar on the bottom
- select the 'from' field to "1.Al-Fatiha 1"
- select the to field to "114. An-Nas 6", This in effect selects the complete Quran.
- tap the button in the lower right corner "Apply And Play".
- It will start downloading the full reciter data. When finished it will start playing.
- the 'downloading progress bar will not show progress though but it will say when finished (also in the notification area)
- you may need to delete or rename the folder with the reciter data before starting this. If you rename you can always revert.
- E.g. for 'Abd Al-Basit' the folder is '0'. rename to '0_' before starting this acton.
- downloading took me 15min on my wifi ac speed. But then you have the complete reciter.
